ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Effective Date: August 20, 2026
Cordero Concepts is committed to making corderoconcepts.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every visitor, regardless of ability, should be able to learn about our services, browse our work, and request an estimate without running into unnecessary barriers.
Why Accessibility Matters to Us
Cordero Concepts was built on integrity, responsibility, and respect, and we think that extends to how our website treats every visitor, not just the ones browsing on a desktop with perfect vision and a mouse. Whether someone is using a screen reader, navigating by keyboard, browsing on a small mobile screen, or relying on voice commands, we want them to be able to find our services, understand our process, and reach us just as easily as anyone else. Accessibility isn't a checkbox for us, it's an extension of the same trustworthy, no barriers experience we try to deliver on every painting project.
Our Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the most widely recognized and commonly referenced standard for web accessibility, including in legal and regulatory contexts. WCAG is built around four core principles, often referred to as POUR:
-
Perceivable — information and interface elements must be presentable in ways all users can perceive, such as text alternatives for images and sufficient color contrast.
-
Operable — interface elements and navigation must be usable by everyone, including people who navigate by keyboard alone rather than a mouse.
-
Understandable — content and navigation should be clear and predictable, without confusing or inconsistent layouts.
-
Robust — content should work reliably across different browsers, devices, and assistive technologies, including screen readers.
Accessibility Features on This Site
This Site is built on Wix Studio, a platform recognized in the 2024 Web Almanac report as a leading platform for built-in accessibility support, including tools for alt text, color contrast checking, and an Accessibility Wizard that flags common issues automatically. We've used these tools to support the following on this Site:
-
Descriptive alt text on images, so screen reader users understand what's shown, not just that an image exists
-
A clear, consistent heading structure (H1, H2, H3) that allows screen reader users to navigate the page logically
-
Sufficient color contrast between text and background colors, checked against our brand palette
-
Keyboard navigable menus, buttons, and forms, so the Site can be used without a mouse
-
Visible form labels on the Contact page, not just placeholder text, so every field is clearly identified
-
Descriptive link text (avoiding vague links like "click here") so the destination of a link is clear out of context
-
Responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels without breaking layout or hiding content
Assistive Technology Compatibility
We aim for this Site to work well with common assistive technologies, including screen readers (such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver), screen magnification software, and keyboard only navigation. If you use assistive technology and run into something that doesn't work as expected, we want to hear about it.
Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one time fix. As we add new pages, blog posts, or features to this Site, we review them against the same accessibility standards described above. We also periodically re-check the full Site as design trends, content, and technology evolve, since accessibility best practices continue to change over time.
Known Limitations
We're not aware of any major accessibility barriers on this Site at this time, but no website is perfect, and some areas are harder to fully control:
-
Third party content, such as embedded social media feeds, booking tools, or map widgets, may not fully meet the same accessibility standards as the rest of this Site, since that content is managed by outside platforms.
-
PDFs or downloadable documents, if added in the future, may not always be fully screen reader accessible unless specifically formatted for accessibility.
-
User submitted content, such as reviews or testimonials, reflects the original wording provided and may not always follow plain language best practices.
We're actively working to minimize these limitations wherever possible.
Feedback & Reporting Accessibility Issues
If you encounter a barrier while using this Site, or have suggestions for how we can make it more accessible, please reach out. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will work to address confirmed issues in a timely manner. When you contact us, it helps to include:

A brief description of the issue
-
The device, browser, or assistive technology you were using, if relevant
